In order to provide a professional service, we have set up a few guidelines for users of our service. Some of these guidelines may seem strict, but they ensure a safe, functional, and trusted environment for all our customers to publish their information on the Web.
When you purchase hosting services from Hostinfo.co.uk you agree to abide by the following Acceptable Use Policy.
Hostinfo.co.uk reserves the right to suspend or cancel any account that we consider has been inappropriately used or violates this policy.
When you purchase a hosting account with Hostinfo.co.uk you agree that you will not exceed the bandwidth or disk space limits that are applicable to your hosting plan. We monitor each accounts usage levels and we reserve the right to take corrective action if your bandwidth or disk usage exceeds the applicable amount for your hosting plan. At our discretion, this may include the assessment of additional charges, disconnection or discontinuance of any and all Services, or termination of this Agreement. We will always contact a customer as soon as an overage is recorded, and attempt to help you to resolve the situation. If the overage continues and an account uses 20% more disk space or bandwidth than the account limit the account will be suspended. If Hostinfo.co.uk takes any corrective action under this section, the customer shall not be entitled to a refund of any fees paid in advance prior to such action. The current overage charge is £5 per GB, with a minimum charge of £20.
If your hosting account continuously uses excessive amounts of CPU processing on any of our servers Hostinfo.co.uk reserves the right to impose additional charges, and / or suspend and cancel your account. This will only be done in extreme circumstances; we will work with you to prevent this situation arising if possible. What constitutes excessive CPU usage is decided at Hostinfo.co.uk’s discretion only.
The maximum storage space for individual email accounts is 50mb

Please be aware that if we become aware of any hosting account being used for illegal activities it will be suspended and the appropriate authorities informed. It is at our discretion what constitutes illegal content.

All users are responsible for maintaining a working email contact and updating that information with Hostinfo.co.uk when it changes so we can get in touch to prevent loss of services in such a situation.
